Code Green Networks "Content Inspector" or "CI" 1500 is a rack-mounted appliance (minimum configuration $25,000) that sits just inside a company's firewall where it "taps" all of a company's network traffic for deep content inspection. After inspecting content that could be leaving a company's network via FTP, Web browser, e-mail, Instant Messenger, or one of several hundred other applications that the CI1500 supports, certain types of communications can be forwarded, automatically rejected, or held for a decision by a "content authority."
