Microsoft reveals its MSN's 2009 redesign, which features a new logo and new look with fewer links and more videos and images. For more on the new MSN, read Mary Jo Foley's blog. It's slated to go live in early 2010.

And before the 1996 MSN there was MSSidewalk, which combined local news and entertainment with national news. It also included tests and tips about subjects ranging from automobiles to appliances. It was so good that I would gladly pay a fee to have it again!... (Read the rest)
