With a shrug, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates gave a keynote at the company's first Mix conference for so-called next-generation Web development on Monday.
Playing catch-up with changing times, the software giant is readying a full slate of software and hosted services for building Web applications on a range of devices, from desktop PCs to mobile phones.
