Eco-Be
Japan's Citizen Watch engineer Yasuji Hirosawa shows off his thumb-sized robot, "Eco-Be." It's equipped with two-step motors to drive both wheels independently. The tiny robot, measuring 0.7 inches wide and about 1 inch tall, can move forwards, backwards and turn with a maximum speed of 1 inch per second. The robots will play soccer games at the RoboCup in Germany in June.
