Lumix DMC-L1
At this week's Photo Marketing Association International's 2006 (PMA 2006) trade show in Orlando, Fla., Matsushita is showing off a prototype of its first SLR camera which is slated to debut later this year. The 7.5 megapixel Lumix DMC-L1 allows photographers to frame their shots with the LCD screen instead of the optical viewfinder, just like a point-and-shoot model. The camera is based on technology that was jointly developed by Matsushita and Olympus.
