An employee of Japanese electronics giant Fuji Xerox displays a prototype of electronic paper called "E-Paper Visual Index Card." The ultra-thin e-paper reduces electrical consumption because it does not need electricity to maintain its display configuration. The e-paper--made of photoconductivity seats that contain an LCD layer--is expected out next year.
