One of the most popular destinations at the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is Bright Angel Point, located at the southern end of the park's main road. The views include stunning looks into Roaring Springs and Bright Angel canyons. According to the National Park Service, the Grand Canyon's rock layers range in age from 270 million years old to 1.8 billion years old, depending on the depth. However, the canyon itself was formed only about 5 or 6 million years ago.
