Meanwhile, back at the International Space Station, the mission goes on. Astronaut Rick Mastracchio attached the Starboard 5 segment of the station's truss, retracted a forward heat-rejecting radiator, and performed several get-ahead tasks during the first scheduled space walk which lasted 6 hours and 17 minutes. Three other space walks are scheduled before returning to Earth.
