Eco-amenities to support the good life at SolFest included organic beers, locally grown wines and spa services. The chlorine-free, nontoxic pouch at the bottom of this tub is supposed to keep the circulating water clean for up to a year. The sack contains sea salts, vitamin C, baking soda, copper and zinc. A reduction oxidation reaction zaps germs in the water, which can be poured into the garden without killing plants.

This product doesn't scale for swimming pools, although "natural pools" are attracting a following in Europe.
