These Rastra wall structures are made of 80 percent Styrofoam recycled from packaging materials that originally shipped with Sony electronics. Explaining their green benefits is Michael Slade, principal of the Eco-Struction building company near Santa Cruz, Calif. He also uses straw bale and rammed earth techniques to build homes.
