Photos: Furries, pirates, drag queens at 'Second Life' ball

What do you get when you tell a bunch of Second Life enthusiasts to dress up for a real-life costume party? Many of them go just as all-out as they would with their avatars in-world.

At this past weekend's Second Life Community Convention (SLCC) in Chicago, the hallmark after-hours event was a "lace and leather masquerade ball." Lace and leather were certainly plentiful.
