BMW expects its Concept X6 ActiveHybrid to consume 20 percent less fuel than a car running a combustion engine only. The BMW ActiveHybrid combines a combustion engine and two high-performance electric motors in an attempt to deliver greater efficiency over a much larger speed range than with a conventional hybrid vehicle.
