A couple of German artists and roboticists created "Juke Bots," autonomous arms that can spin and scratch records like DJs. Pictured here is one of the arms playing disco beats at the Wired NextFest. In front of the robotic arm is a record player that threads the records under its needle. The bots "can be displayed either as an autonomous performance or as an 'interactive' installation," according to their creators at www.robotlab.de.
