Artist David Best and Tim Dawson built the "Temple of Forgiveness," an Asian-influenced structure that was burned on the last night of Burning Man 2007. Every year the temple is the spiritual focal point of the event, with people remembering loved ones who have passed with mementos and notes written directly on the wooden structure.
