The ping-pong tournament of insulation. Hot air is being blown through three pipes. There is enough hot air getting through fiberglass insulation and cellulose insulation to float the ball in the air. The middle one is being blocked with spray-in foam from Demilec. Keeping hot air in leads to lower heating costs. The company is also mixing agricultural oils into its polyurethane formula for the foam to make it greener.
It costs more, but the company claims the extra cost is paid back by lower utility bills in 24 to 36 months.
