Looj at an angle

At DigitalLife in New York on Thursday, iRobot CEO Colin Angle is expected to unveil two new robots, the Looj and the ConnectR, to the company's consumer line of vacuuming, scrubbing and pool-cleaning robots.

"One is in the challenges, the thing you should be doing that you neglect, and one is in the domain of communication with your family," Angle said.

The Looj, whose photos were accidentally leaked by the Federal Communications Commission Web site, is a robot for cleaning gutters on the outside of the home. While it looks neat, the robot is more or less a home-helping tool that works by remote control.
