The next flight is scheduled to take place in the summer of 2009 from Kiruna, Sweden. The floating telescope is expected to take advantage of the midnight sun at the Arctic and take photographs of the sun almost nonstop for up to two weeks.
The solar telescope is readied for the test launch.
