The magnetic acoustic device from HPV Technologies "literally blew our socks off," said Heal. The acoustic system can send clear, intelligible sound through a narrow path over a great distance using planar wave (rather than a speaker's acoustic wave) technology. "At one measured mile I personally listened to a Frank Sinatra record with the accompaniment, the background music, the lyrics, everything," he said.
