Paul's dead

Wait, he's supposed to be dead!

For years, spread largely by wildly speculative radio hosts, the rumor has lingered that Beatles legend Paul McCartney somehow died in 1966 and was replaced by a lookalike. Clues in later Beatles songs and album art allegedly spelled out the story of McCartney's tragic death (An overdose? A motorcycle accident?), and playing certain songs backwards supposedly revealed codes like the obvious "Paul is dead, Paul is dead."

But if he's dead, then how the heck did he ink that hot deal with iTunes?
