Toyota unveiled on Wednesday its next-generation Corolla on the floor of SEMA. The 2009 Corolla Matrix will have a body that is slightly wider and lower than its predecessor
Even though the car is a five-door hatchback, it has "the soul of a two-door sports car," according to Toyota.
Not so sure about that, but the car will come with a 2.4-liter engine that offers 158 horsepower at 6,000rpm, with either a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. A less powerful version with a 1.8-liter engine will also be offered.
