Have a hydrogen car and no place to fill up? Just get your own hydrogen filling station. Perhaps more interesting than the Honda FCX Clarity itself, is news of Honda's Home Energy Station IV at its research and development facility in Torrance, Calif.
The home energy station is not yet for sale commercially, but the concept is key. It's a hydrogen fuel pump that doubles as a heating and electricity source for your home.
With no hydrogen infrastructure in place in the U.S., perhaps automakers are contemplating getting into the energy biz?
