Paratroopers line up
U.S. Army paratroopers line up to board a C-130 through its rear gate at Pope Air Force Base, N.C., earlier this month. The C-130's cargo bay can hold 92 combat troops or 64 paratroopers. (A stretch version, the C-130J-30, is 15 feet longer and can hold 128 combat troops or 92 paratroopers.) The cargo bay can also accommodate certain helicopters and six-wheeled armored vehicles.

C-130 = Super Spooky?
IIRC, before the end of the Vietnam fiasco the C-130 gunships were flying although they weren't nearly as potent or as accurate as what flies today. This would have been in the '68 period. The old AC-... (Read the rest)
