Flexible solar panels made from CIGS (a combination of copper indium gallium selenide) are more expensive per watt than glass-covered silicon panels but are more portable. Here is a rollable panel from PowerFilm Solar.

- i want solar panels for aircons
- i think these are all great but i need something powerful enough to hold 2 aircons powered by solar panels only for home use. Is there something that is safe, cost-effective and powerful enough to hold big appliances?... (Read the rest)
