This image is from one of several pages of Lego's original 1958 patent application. The patent was filed on January 28, 1958. The company is celebrating Monday as the 50th anniversary of the Lego brick.

- Yeah, it's great stuff, I remember how hard it was to get hold of Lego in former Czechoslovakia. You had to have friends in toy stores to get one, they were extremely popular but scarce. I spent hours constructing my own cars and stuff:-) And those Lego wars....:-)... (Read the rest)
