Spirex makes the injection mold plastic packaging shown here. The trays in the upper left corner use 40 percent recycled materials from leftover medical applications. To their right is virgin, petroleum-based plastic packaging that houses dental veneer equipment. Although the market for disposable bioplastics is growing, they can't be used to package sterile medical equipment.
