At a newspaper editors' conference in Seattle on Friday, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates showed off the Times Reader, a program that harnesses the graphics power of Windows Vista to allow for better on-screen reading of the venerable "Gray Lady." In the program, developed by the New York Times Co., readers can change the font or window size and the text will reflow itself, allowing for better reading on devices with different-size screens.
