Among the offerings it unveiled on Monday at the GSMA Mobile World Congress trade show, in Barcelona, Spain, Sony Ericsson presented the Xperia X1, the company's first phone to run on Microsoft's Windows Mobile platform. The Xperia X1 is intended as a smartphone for business users, although Sony Ericsson is expected to follow it with a family of consumer-oriented phones, many intended as competitors to Apple's iPhone.
