Although he declined to discuss specifics, Microsoft Vice President Pieter Knook told CNET News.com's Ina Fried that the company is "certainly investing in the browser" and "certainly investing in entertainment scenarios" in its development of Windows Mobile applications for phones such as the Xperia X1.
