LucasArts' forthcoming game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, takes players through a story line that is based on the Star Wars films and that is placed chronologically between Episode III and Episode IV (the original film). In the game, players take the role of Darth Vader's apprentice who, through the course of the game, goes through a period of redemption. The game will incorporate two new technologies: Euphoria, a bio-feedback artificial intelligence that allows game players to experience very different results each time they play; and Digital Molecular Matter (DMM), which allows the game to showcase much more realistic physics and breaking or destruction effects than has traditionally been seen in games.
