Xcerion, a little-known Swedish start-up, has created a browser-based environment known as icloud that looks a whole lot like a Windows or Linux desktop. The company gave CNET News.com a demonstration of its product this week.
One of the most interesting features of Xcerion's icloud environment is the ability to associate the side of your screen with the side of another user. That makes dragging a window onto their desktop as easy as sliding it off your page. Shown here is a window that is halfway between two users' computers.
