To compete in the Eco-marathon, vehicles must have either three or four wheels. They can run on conventional fuels such as gasoline or diesel, or draw on alternative energy sources such as solar power or fuel cells. Of the 35 vehicles entered in this weekend's competition--the finals are Sunday--just over two dozen use an internal combustion engine, including both of Cedarville's.
