Linuxastronomy
This would-be telescope from a group called Linuxastronomy.org is hoped to eventually allow people to search space, guided by the Internet. The idea is that people will be able to enter celestial coordinates into their computers, thus directing the telescope to look into space as requested and then broadcasting the images on the Internet. The project is not expected to be completed for several years, however, because the group is financing the construction of the telescope, including its mirror, itself.
