And in the radically-different-but-potentially-disruptive category, there is Cool Earth Solar.
It makes a solar concentrator that focuses light onto photovoltaic cells to make electricity. What's so different is that the company envisions making the concentrators out of plastic and stringing them like balloons.

- I think the cost of oil has forced a realization among the politicians in the SouthWest states.
