CNC making MLB bat

Here, the computer numerical control (CNC) machine makes a major league player's bat. The billet rolls into the machine and the CNC cuts the bat exactly to the designated width and diameter. Bats used to be made at Louisville Slugger with specialized lathes, but those machines left room due to small margins of error. The CNC machine cuts each bat to minute precision.
