Volvo's futuristic 3CC, which seats three, is propelled by a quiet electric powertrain, so it has zero emissions. The electric power comes from lithium-ion cells, identical to those used in laptop computers, that are packaged in the vehicle's floor. The 3CC can accelerate to 62 mph in about 10 seconds.
