Another World War II-era U.S. Army weapon, the LVT(A)1 amphibious tank, carried a crew of six, weighed 32,800 pounds, and could reach a top speed of 26 mph on land and 7 mph in the water. It could go 125 miles on land and 75 miles in the water before refueling.
