These innocuous looking pictures may look identical to the naked eye but the one on the right contains data hidden within almost imperceptible color differences.

Foggon is concerned that the unit's job could start becoming far more difficult as criminals embrace stenography as a way of hiding information.

The subterfuge only becomes apparent when comparing the number of colours in both pictures, with 46,270 colours in the one of the left and 44,311 on the right.

Why does this article refer to the "Australia Serious Fraud Office" (doesn't exist) and then go on to talk about the UK Police, UK investigations and pounds.

The author is clearly a little confused by what part of the world s/he is in. Doesn't add a lot of credibility to the article.... (Read the rest)
