Here, Maurice Collins shows off an automatic page turner from 1880, which turns pages in a book at the flick of a lever. Collins had been collecting old gadgets for around 35 years after starting out with an antique bottle collection.

- I think air-tight seal was meant rather than vacuum (which also requires an air-tight seal to work) (Read the rest)
