More than a dozen ultramobile computers, powered by Intel's new Atom CPU, are on display at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco this week. Most of these machines come with Linux, but a few offer Windows XP or Vista as an option. The Lenovo Ideapad U8 runs Linux and uses the number pad and T9 software for text entry. It's available in China now.
