Want a 65-inch, high-definition plasma TV? To get this one, from Matsushita Electric Industrial, you'll have to head to Japan. The company is planning to put the TH-65PX500 on sale there starting Nov. 1, 2005, at a price of about 990,000 yen ($8,985).
Also on the big-screen front: Sharp is offering a 65-inch LCD model, and Samsung is working on an 82-inch LCD screen.
