The big Toshiba chip is the 8GB of storage the iPod Nano supplies.
The iPod Nano can tell its orientation and flip the image on the LCD screen accordingly. This means there are accelerometer chips onboard (arrows).

- I believe that the built in redundancy (it being subject to the "non-replaceable battery" life) of the Ipod is a disgrace in these days of so called green enlightenment. My 12 year old has his on cons... (Read the rest)
