Adobe AIR goes mobile

The Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) provides a foundation that can run Flash applications, and the new version 1.5 is built around Flash Player 10. Lynch showed it running on what Intel calls a mobile Internet device, or MID, which today at least is smaller than a PC but bigger than a mobile phone.

The application being shown is a The New York Times AIR application that will let people read the International Herald Tribune in a less format that looks more like newspaper and less like a Web page.
