Another solar technology that's not often discussed is solar space heating. SolarWall is a Canadian company that makes aluminum devices that fit on the sides of buildings. As the aluminum covering gets heated by the sun, it heats air below the surface. Fans circulate the air to heat the indoors. The company caters primarily to businesses but it plans on making a kit for homeowners next year, according to a representative.
