Scheduling Security Essentials

From the Settings tab, users can schedule either Quick or Full scans. You can set a scheduled scan to update the definition file before it begins, too. You're limited to setting them to begin on the hour, but that can be mitigated somewhat by checking off the "run only when idle" box.
