Six generators
While Cheyenne Mountain now has commercial Colorado Springs power as its primary source of electricity, it used to rely entirely on generators.

Now, the generators serve as backups in case of a loss of the city electric power. The complex features six generators, four of which can run normal operations inside the mountain. Only two however, are needed for the most mission-critical operations. And two more generators are available in case one is under maintenance, and another is a spare.

There are some things that should not be splashed all over the web, this is one of them. What moron allowed pictures to be taken of this place? Why don't you just give the terrorists a road-map and blue-prints of the place and let them have at it?
