During Road Trip 2009, CNET News reporter Daniel Terdiman visited Yellowstone National Park. There to see the park's abundance of geothermal activity--beyond Old Faithful--Terdiman also got a peek at a little of the wildlife.
Here, a lone bison wanders through the woods alongside one of the park's main roads. Bison, which look peaceful and contemplative, are known to be extremely unpredictable and dangerous, and Yellowstone visitors are warned not to approach them.
