Map of southern Oregon
This map highlights key points in the Kim family's travels through southwestern Oregon.

Missing CNET editor James Kim and his family were expected to arrive at the Tu Tu Tun Lodge in Gold Beach on the evening of Saturday, November 25. They never checked in.

The family was last seen Saturday in Roseburg, where they ate dinner at a Denny's restaurant.

A cell phone tower in Glendale picked up a signal from one of the Kims' mobile phones at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, according to a report in The Oregonian.

That new piece of information narrowed search and rescue workers' area of focus to roads in the Bear Camp area, which would have connected the Kims to NF-23, a remote logging road that connects Interstate 5 with Gold Beach.

(This map was obtained from Google Maps and slightly modified to show key points in the ongoing investigation.)
