Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' venture, Blue Origin, is working to lower the cost of spaceflight. On November 13, 2006, the team launched and landed Goddard, a first-development vehicle in the company's New Shepard program. Here, Goddard is pictured before launch as the sun is rising.

Whilst this may not be suitable (practical) for use on earth,
it would seem to make sense for use on lower gravity enviroments such as the moon, where a lack of atmosphere would make winged landing... (Read the rest)
