Holden, an Australian unit of General Motors, doesn't actually plan to put the Efijy into production, alas. It was instead a side project for some of the company's designers, an opportunity to get away from their everyday work and put a 21st-century touch on the 1953 FJ Holden--apparently a very popular car with hot-rodders down under. The dashboard, for instance, incorporates a drop-down touchscreen LCD monitor, and the front-end features fan-cooled, high-intensity LED headlights.
