Yi Li, a student at University of Calgary in Canada, designed the Puzzle Crossover to add safety to the SUV market.
The car's active safety system (larger image) is made up of radar, sensors and intelligent controllers to identify dangerous situations and correct bad decisions by the driver. The system can also control the speed of the vehicle.
The passive system is made up of structural features such as an Orca-head-shaped windshield, anti-impact doors, frame rollover protection, and new resin materials.
